Extreme Rock

Extreme Rock is a collection of essays from many authors compiled by Ken Wilson. It is the final book in the series (the first two volumes being Classic Rock and Hard Rock), and is particularly valuable as the plates used in the original print run were purportedly destroyed in a fire and so no books have been produced after the original print run.

It differs from Classic Rock and Hard Rock in that it contains many more routes (approximately 180) and across a far wider range of grades (from E1 to E9 on the British traditional grading system, though with some sport routes in the mix as well).

As of 2023, only James McHaffie has managed to tick every route on the list.
