Simbas Pride Trad climb E8 8
Slab and Crack Trad climb E8 8

The route had previously been climbed in two parts: the bottom half as One Step Beyond Direct by Ron Fawcett, and the top as Homeward Bound by Peter Beal. Johnny combined the two to complete the natural line up the middle of the wall.

It masqueraded as an E7 for a decade or two, but the combination of sustained hard climbing and hard-to-place small gear led to an upgrade.

Speed Intégrale Sport route 9a 8
Statement of Youth Sport route 8a 8

One of the first 8as in the UK. The name is a play on the book Testament of Youth and the fact Ben Moon was a mere 18 years old when he made the first ascent.

First climbed in 1984, for some time the route was cited as the first 8a in the UK. The nearby routes Masterclass and Oyster climbed by Jerry Moffatt the year before were subsequently upgraded to 8a. However, these were all narrowly superseded by Dave Cuthbertson's trad route Requiem (E8), featuring 8a/+ climbing.

Steinbukken Boulder problem 8A+ 8
Stoking the Fire Sport route 9b 8
Syncro Sport route 8c+ 8
Taylor Made Boulder problem 7C 8
The Fly Sport route 9a 8

A very short route or a highball boulder with a bit of a funky landing. When climbed as a route both the bolts on the route are usually pre-clipped.
