Links Weedkiller Traverse in to Fat Lip.

After the first ascent a hold fell off in the mid-section. It was glued back on but then came back off again, at which point a suitor took the hold home and kept it in his change jar ready to re-glue. Unfortunately he lost interest in the route and the edge remained in the jar for several years until our unlucky suitor was burgled and the thieves took the jar, complete with edge.

A new hold was glued in place in 2020, prior to the second ascent.

The first 8a at Malham Cove.

E6 6b/c, 1a, 5a. The free climb of London monument Nelson's Column. Pitch 3 climbs the column itself, an endurance pinch-fest said to be the crux.

The column was first aid climbed by Ed Drummond in 1978.

Originally a hybrid trad route. Retro-bolted in 1998.

Named after a comment by Johnny Woodward after a top rope ascent:

Undoubtedly the hardest piece of climbing on the roaches. It has three desperate moves involving an unlikely toe-jam, a weird high sort of bridge and an all-out crystal move. There are no runners and a fall would land you in a holly tree. It will take me quite some time to pluck up the courage to lead it!
