Tyler Thompson:

I got to meet Scott in rifle this summer and he recounted his flash of stabat mater (13b/8a), the hardest flash by an American at the time. He told me how he hadn’t expected to stick the crux dyno, and when he did he hadn’t had enough draws to reach the top. So, as any proper climber would do, he came off belay, lowered a loop down for some more draws, and proceeded to send. Legend shit. [1]
