Free climbs some of the old Bauer aid directissima before climbing independent pitches to join Pan Aroma (8c) before the latter's crux traverse. MacLeod, a Scottish Nationalist, named it after the unofficial description of the Unionist campaign in the Scottish independence referendum of 2014.

I had one go to work out the moves and was blown away that it didn’t feel too hard. 8c usually feels a lot harder… but this was really steady. We came back for a work session the next day and on my first go, I redpointed the pitch!
