There is some controversy around Gabe's ascent of this problem. He claimed the FA and called it The Megg and suggested 8C+.

Ethan Salvo:

This footage is from Sept 2023, a few months after Andy Lamb and Lucas Uchida climbed what we all knew at the time as a V16 boulder called "The Megg". In the following months, we found out that the First Ascentionist was likely lying about many ascents. Unable to provide any witness, or footage (that he claimed was on his phone), the first ascent credit was given to Andy Lamb and the problem was renamed "Fool Me Once". The V16 problem that was later climbed with a harder sequence than the "First Ascentionist" was subsequently downgraded to V14. [2]
