On arriving at the crag Hamish worked the route for an afternoon then returned the next day and dispatched it on his fourth redpoint attempt of the day. A remarkably quick ascent! [1]

My rests became far less about the body, sometimes only being two or three minutes after my previous attempt. By my ninth pull on of the day, I'd climbed the physical equivalent of eight V16 boulders one after another, including one violent dry fire from a place I'd considered the boulder to be "over". [5]

Hamish used a new toehook method for the start, and suggested 8B+/V14 may be more appropriate for that method. He was also extremely close to flashing the problem, only making a minor dab on the last move. [2]
