First ascent.

An extremely impressive ascent, climbed ground up after abseil inspection and removal of the bolts. The successful ascent was made on the third try, with the first two necessitating a retreat from sky hooks.

Onsighting is dangerous, trad climbing is dangerous and onsighting hard, bold trad routes is ridiculously dangerous. It's levels of acceptable risk, but also a strange belief in the strength of RPs helps. [1]

I basically think that ascent probably was one of the pivotal, benchmark ascents of British onsight climbing to date. [1]
