The full line starting as for Leviathan SDS and finishing as for Leviathan Extension. All other lines are effectively variations on this, starting or finishing in different places.
To add to the confusion there has been several changes to the problem due to a glued crimp. When James Taylor and Sam Tolhurst were establishing the original problem Leviathan (Crouch Start) (7C+) there was a good 3/4 finger edge in friable rock which broke off. Thinking the hold crucial James repaired the hold only for it to break again. James repaired the hold once more, but the result was almost entirely glue. The various starts and extensions were established in this state, with Ben Bransby finally establishing Big Leviathan Extended (Sans Resin) (8C) as the full line eliminating the resin hold. After Bransby's ascent the resin hold was knocked off leaving a small, natural hold in it's place and also making his eliminate defunct. [1]
