Also comes under 'Top 3 sandbaggings'... headed up with Robbie Phillips and Calum Muskett. I packed the ropes and Robbie the rack. When we got to the crag, I got ready for an Onsight try, and Robbie pulled out one of the skimpiest racks I've seen. Crikey, I thought. I've carried more on gritstone headpoints! I didn't place much at the bottom, trying to save each piece for higher up, and fell off pumped and confused in the crux. When I got down, Callum mentioned the spaced gear, and Robbie goes "oh, did you not want some more", pulling a double rack of totems out of the bag 😂 [1]
