Removed the chipped tag, because it’s not, in any common understanding of the word. It’s a bit like saying every route at millstone or nesscliffe is chipped.
Not a hill Im gonna die on, but I'd say the runnel falls within the general idea of a chipped hold. It is totally artificial after all, even if it doesn't happen to have been done by climbers. I guess 'chipped' is perhaps a bad choice of language becuse it comes with conotations of a climber modifying it for the purpose of climbing, maybe something like 'Contains artificial holds' might make more sense?
I don’t think artificial holds is the right term either, since that sounds like it’s been created for climbing. ‘Historic carved feature’ would be better.
