Moffat's dogged ascent in 1980 received a fair amount of publicity at the time. It was not clear he'd rested up it and a 17 year old unknown climbing Britain's hardest route (it was thought) was newsworthy so I think this merits inclusion. His more conventional ascent is mentioned briefly in Revelations and it appears to be the true second ascent although not described as such.
Carrigan joined Mammut and moved to Switzerland in 1986 after he failed to complete the Lord of the Rings so his ascent is likely 87 or later.
