I think this should probably be mentioned on CH at this point, but not sure how hard to go. Are we comfortable excluding the ascent?
I haven't gone through all the details, but I think it's reasonable to mention it on Boes' ascent and link to the vid. Personally I think the bar for excluding ascents should be pretty high, and I dont think the bar is met here. Compare with lots of Gaskins' ascents, where there are big question marks but we still include them.
FWIW I think the bar for exclusion (for Boes' ascent) is met (i.e. list the ascent with an exclusion tag). The story is a familiar one of widespread disbelief, unconvincing evidence and uncontactable witnesses. If you've got yourself a reputation for being flexible with the truth, the bar needs to be set higher.
I agree it does seem a familiar pattern, but I think there should be some flexibility when a single ascent is questioned, then update if/when any other ascents start to look more questionable (as usually happens). I think a link to the vid and a factual discussion make it pretty clear, and allows people to draw their own conclusions.

The doubts weren't just about the dodgy video. There was a tip-off, most people who know him don't believe him, the story about the witness cameraman is risible.

Sure I can add something. I鈥檓 just reciting the points made in the video that calls him out. From digging around I could only find uncut footy of a single 8B. Sad if he hasn鈥檛 done all that he claims 馃槙
Thanks again for the detail, I've excluded his ascent of Deep Fake as that seems the most consequential, but left his other ascents for the moment.
