Seems to be very little about him online other than his second ascent of Action Directe and some ok comp results. Interesting given Action was bleeding edge. Anyone got some good sources to read more about him?
I've filled it out a bit. I remember his AD ascent but, as you said, for a Brit. he appeared to come out of the blue but it sounds like he was active in all the usual France/Germany/Italy places in the early 90s. A search for "Alexander Adler" +climber brings up some interesting stuff. Love to know more about the N Korean climbing trip.

Still at it and the grey ponytail is such a classic look. I'll ask a Munich/Dresden based German friend who is around the same age if he knows of anything else he did.
