I met Craig in the mid-90s and he'd done it by then.
I've changed the link which no longer points towards some dodgy Russian site and have narrowed down the date of Craig's ascent somewhat.
The new NW Rock Wired guide gives it E8, presumably to take into account of the decay of the peg, but I'll leave it at E7 until consensus emerges (likely around 2050...although we can presumably expect more flash ascents in future).

Total armchair grading, but my impression was that it was fairly reaosnable at E7 so kinda surprised to hear it's gone up to E8. Like you say presumably it's to do with the peg though, always a hard one with those as they're safe until they're not c.f. Parthian Shot (Pre-2011 Break) (E9).
