Tony had been attempting the line prior to the first ascent but was shut down by a long move through the roof, which he managed to reach twice from the ground but was unable to pass.

After Tony's ascent some 'crucial' holds came off and it waited a long time for it's next ascent at the hands of the prolific Steve McClure. [3]

Probably one of the best routes at Malham. [2]
