The Groove | 7C+ Boulder problem at Pueblo

United States / Colorado / Pueblo County

Established by John Gill as potentially the first ascent of a problem graded V10/7C+. Discussing the development of bouldering, Gill states "On boulders, delicate, tiny-holds work I referred to as “micro-climbing”, rather than bouldering. But, don’t assume that strong-arm routes are not technical. On the Groove, near Pueblo, I had to learn one of the most technical moves I’ve ever done, and it involved great strength and momentum"
