The first major route on Cloggy and first to breach the East Buttress. Morley Wood inserted chockstones for aid, carried for this purpose in a handkerchief. The first recorded instance of this technique which lead to current nut protection.
Originally known as East Buttress or The Original Route until the current name was bestowed by the 1942 guidebook.
