Developed the offwidth crack techniques now known as Leavittation with <a href="/climber/878/randy-leavitt" rel="noopener noreferrer">Randy Leavitt</a>. One of few climbers to have a specific technique (the figure four is called a Yaniro in Francophone countries) named after him, along with <a href="/climber/2534/gaston-rébuffat" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gaston Rébuffat</a> and <a href="/climber/726/hans-dülfer" rel="noopener noreferrer">Hans Dülfer</a>.</p>
