Shuld we capitalise assis here? I think probably yes?

Shouldn’t we use the same problem names and orthography as Bleau.info?

Interesting Q. https://climbing-history.org/tools/style#terminology-naming-and-grades-climbs-name says prefer title case which is kinda what I had in mind for assis -> Assis, but is that trumped by 'retain local orthography'? 🤔

Have you got a strong opinion either way TdG? Im leaning towards title case here given 'assis' like extra info in the name, and I can't imagine climbers making FAs typically have a strong opinion on assis vs Assis.

I think retain local orthography, i.e. title case for the given name, lowercase and brackets for the addendum describing the variation on start position.

Cool, been through and updated all uses of Assis or (Assis) to (assis). Do we leave it there? Could conceivably expand out to other modifiers like bas, gauche and droite?

Nice one. Would be good to do them all, also raccourci, du sol, direct

I'll put a bit of a list together 👍 where there are multiple bits that apply I guess we'd write that like (assis, gauche)?

I was thinking whether we want to do this with meta data, but I think it's so ingrained in how we talk about problems it's better to go for consistency the rest of the world.

Went to put the list together but there was only a handful of climbs on there and most of them were correctly formatted already so just fixed the couple that needed changes.
