Son of Heart Aid Climb A3 2

"Peering at El Cap by moonlight reveals five obvious lines. Son of Heart was the only one yet unclimbed" (Sylvester)

The Nietsche and Kierkegaard chimneys of Son of Heart are climbed by El Corazon.

From base camp in Nepal the route goes through the Khumbu Icefall to camp I, from there the route then goes up the Western Cwm to the base of the Lhotse face and camp II. From here climbers go up the Lhotse face to camp III before gaining a further 500m altitude to reach camp IV on the south col. From camp IV climbers typically attempt a summit push.
