1989: With natural unclimbed lines becoming scarce, eliminates and traverses begin to grow in popularity. […] Jacky Godoffe climbs the never-ending Movement Perpetuel [sic] 8b at Cuvier. This awesome traverse waits four years for a repeat at the hands of the mighty Benoît Faure who becomes one of the keenest devotees of the horizontal game.
