I really wanted to try this route for two reasons: first of all because i really like the history and this route and with it Wolfgang Güllich set an important milestone in the history of sport climbing. The other reason why I really wanted to climb this route is connected to the its name, Wallstreet reminds me of Pink Floyd and their album The Wall.
I tried also to understand the E grading system but I got more confused. I tried to compare it to some climbs in Ceuse (which is my absolute reference 😁) and it felt a bit easier than some 8b there. And if the crux problem was in Fontainebelau, it will be probably around 6c. It s possible the holds get better over time with this very smooth sandstone.
