Fred Booth, son of Tom Booth, was a cragsman and caver who took part in the discovery of Pollnagollum in 1938 and the Rowten Pot rescue of 1939; assistant secretary (1926–46) and then secretary (1946–52) of the Yorkshire Ramblers' Club and an honorary member from 1959. [1]
