Geoff Bell was a long-distance walker in the Rucksack Club who walked the Pennine Way self-sufficient in under five days, for which the Bob Graham Club gave him its Achievement of the Year award in 1982. In 1979 he and Mike Cudahy completed the North Wales Horseshoe walk devised by Ted Dance. [1] [2] [3] [4]
