Dr C. L. (Katie) Corbett, one of the earliest women doctors (M.B., Manchester, 1905), served 32 years in Lancashire's child welfare department and went to Serbia with the Scottish Women's Hospital Unit in the First World War. A founder member of the Pinnacle Club, she was its treasurer from 1923, its president from 1929 and treasurer again after the Second World War. [1]
