Those French rock boots were great on edges but took an age to get any feel. They were just the job on [Geronimo](/climb/3100/geronimo) at [Shepherds](/crag/747/shepherds-crag) but a bit extreme for most stuff until they were well-worn and the tinny insole was pulled out! [1]
